Partnering With Rural America

HUDSON - Eparts, Inc. (Eparts) is proud to announce it intends to build a 100,000 sq. ft, state of the art distribution center in Lincoln County, South Dakota. This facility would be part of the proposed I-29 Ag and Industrial Park (IAI), which plans to be located a ½ mile east of the Canton exit on the north side of HWY 18.

Since 2017, Eparts has operated its aftermarket spare parts business in Hudson, SD. Regarding Eparts’ development plans, founder Brandon Van Beek said. “We are excited about the growth we have experienced over the past four years. It has been a blessing to start and grow our business in rural America. Unfortunately, we have recently experienced serious hardships being so far from the distribution centers of UPS and USPS in Sioux Falls. Furthermore, as we have grown our freight operations have become more complex, access to the interstate system and HWY 18 would help that challenge immensely. The IAI would allow us to remain part of numerous rural communities and still access Sioux Falls’ amenities.”

Progessive Ag Holdings CFO Don Nelson said, “As part of the exploratory committee for Eparts, we searched up and down the corridor from Sioux Falls to Beresford. This site offers distribution and retail companies the exposure they need to connect with customers, employees and the national transportation network. We believe this region is prime for growth and countless opportunities. It’s our goal to attract more large-scale businesses that would supplement this region.”

“We’re excited to see Eparts focus their development efforts on Lincoln County,” said Jesse Fonkert, Executive Director of the Sioux Metro Growth Alliance. “Eparts’ investment into this area will have a positive economic impact on the surrounding communities and the metro as a whole. Our organization expects to see more businesses looking at this area for growth.”
